The client was experiencing numerous leaks throughout the building and was unable to find the sources. The building’s interior duct work was forming condensation due to lack of insulation. The hallways were experiencing negative pressure systems, causing mold to form between the wallpaper and drywall.
SOLUTION
SMG had to mitigate all the mold in the drywall, wallpaper, and ducts. Our company worked to get their HVAC systems in common areas to work properly. All four sides of the building were repointed to address the leaks. We took further steps to survey each of the residents in order to pinpoint exact leaks and ensure all issues were addressed.
