CHALLENGE

The residential development was a historical property with new construction taking up an entire city block. They were experiencing leaking issues within their parking garage and were having constant flooding. Their storm water sump-pump systems were unable to get the problem under control.

SOLUTION

SMG determined where the water was coming from and was able to bring in the right contracts in order to control the water. The building was built over an aquafor. Due to area’s high water table, water proofing had to be done as well as an update to their sump-pump systems.

RESULT

The parking garage no longer leaks and the clients and residents were satisfied with the final result. SMG was later consulted on other projects by the owners of the building.
